Four ways we finish a room
Whole-house trim packages
Base, casing and crown for new builds and full re-trims. Priced by the opening before we start, installed in numbered sequence, coped at every inside corner so February never opens a joint.
Wainscot & panel walls
Raised, flat and bead-board panel walls built at the bench and scribed to floors that stopped being level in 1974. Dining rooms, halls and stair wells — quiet rooms that suddenly read as finished.
Built-ins & window seats
Libraries, benches and storage walls in paint-grade poplar or stain-grade oak — drawn full scale, built at the shop, set in a day. Storage where the room needs it and none where it does not.
Stairs, skirts & rails
Oak treads, scribed skirts and rails bolted through the frame. A stair is the hardest-working wood in a house; we build it like it is, and it takes a teenager at full speed without comment.
Client rooms

Every tile is a client room at walkthrough — shot on the last day, before the truck loads. No staging, no borrowed furniture, no color grading.
The quote was the invoice. To the dollar. I have renovated three houses and never written that sentence before.
Our stair had three generations of bad repairs in it. Truebit scribed the skirts to the wall as it is, and the inspector wrote their name down.
They cased forty-one openings and I vacuumed less than after the painters. Mats, plastic, a HEPA vac running on every tool all day.
Do you really quote before you cut?
Yes. The measure visit ends with openings counted and conditions photographed, and the fixed quote arrives inside forty-eight hours, line by line. It holds for thirty days. If we find something unexpected behind a wall, you approve the change before we touch it — never after.
How clean is the job, really?
We work one room at a time with floor protection, doorway plastic and a HEPA vac on the tools. Most clients stay home for the entire install; two have worked from the room next door with the door open.
Paint-grade or stain-grade?
Both, quoted side by side so you can compare real numbers. Paint forgives and stain testifies — where the grain earns its keep we will say so, and where MDF serves the paint job better than poplar we will say that instead.
What area do you serve?
Ferry Landing plus forty minutes in any direction. Beyond that we quote a visible mileage line on the estimate rather than folding it into the day rate — the number you sign is the number you pay.
