Trim packages — the full envelope
Base, casing, crown and doors for new builds and gut re-trims. Fixed price by the opening, sequence planned with your painter, one site lead from first cut to last walk.

Door hanging & hardware
Prehung or slab, mortised and set to a nickel-slide. Emtek, Baldwin, or the salvaged 1929 set from the flea market — we make the old latch sing again.

Stair systems
Treads, risers, skirts and rail, new or rebuilt. Newels bolted through the framing, balusters spaced to code and to the eye in equal measure.

Built-ins & vanities
Floating vanities on steel, wardrobe walls, window benches with shelves below. Cut for repeatability, hand-fitted on site to the walls you actually have.

How it goes
From site measure to pen
The same sequence on every job — the only variable is your project.
Day 0
Site measure
Laser measure, moisture readings, photographs of every condition. Ninety minutes, free, yours to keep.
Day 2
The fixed number
Line-itemed by opening and by foot — crown at fourteen a foot, doors at two-forty hung. Holds thirty days.
Weeks 1–2
Fabrication & finish
Milled, coped and numbered at the shop; stain-grade finished flat in three coats before it sees your rooms.
Final day
Reveal & walkthrough
Every reveal checked with the same six-inch level the first cut was made with. You hold the pen; the truck stays until the list is empty.
We hired Kerf for one door. Then the stairs. Then every room in the house. My architect gauged the reveals — identical, all forty-one of them. He kept the notes.

Every gap in every room set to the same sixteenth. If any reveal drifts within two years, we reset it on our own clock.
What is a reveal, and why build a company on it?
It is the deliberate shadow gap between trim and wall, door and jamb, rail and skirt. Consistent reveals read as crisp from across the room; inconsistent ones read as something wrong you cannot name. We hold ours to a sixteenth of an inch.
Do you paint?
We install, fill and caulk; your painter sprays. On stain-grade we finish ourselves — three coats, hand-rubbed, flat at the shop, because a finish applied to a hung board is a finish applied in the dark.
Modern or traditional houses?
Both, under the same discipline. A minimal floating reveal hides less than a Victorian profile, which is exactly why we refuse to hide behind it.
How do you price?
By the opening and by the foot, from the rate card on the studio wall — crown at eleven to seventeen a foot, doors at two-forty hung, whole packages fixed after the measure. Every estimate itemizes every line.
