A studio, not a slab shop
The drawing is how we quote, so it cannot be extra. Grades shot, joints laid on the module of the façade, colour matched to the roofline — a walk that looks designed because it was, and the drawing is yours to keep with the sealer schedule taped to its back.
What we do
Three crafts, one mill
Ground & sealed patios
Wet-polished to a 200-grit hone that opens the fine aggregate, then densified against oil and wine and sealed matte. The surface reads as limestone at a fraction of the price, and it shrugs off a shore-wind January the way limestone only wishes it could.
Architectural walkways
Width set by the door casings, joints on the module of the façade, integral colour matched to the roofline from a fan deck mixed into the truck not dusted on top. Fire-pit cores, rail sleeves and lighting conduit set before the pour — never drilled after.
Arrival courts & one-placement slabs
Grade shot, aggregate compacted in lifts, then poured as one placement so there is no cold joint to find in ten years. Cure-and-seal at day 28 with a high-solid acrylic, matte or satin, renewed on a three-year cycle the studio keeps on its own calendar.

Why the wheel turns
The studio creed
Concrete is the only stone you can pour, and the only one that arrives liquid — which means the finish is decided by patience, grit sequence and water, not by quarry luck. The mill wheel has turned since 1848; the polishers turn with it. Slow is a method here, not an apology.
Every stone was once a pour. We simply finish ours on purpose, and sooner.

Is the design work extra?
The scaled drawing is part of the commission — it is how we quote, so it cannot be extra. Drawings alone for another crew to pour are a separate $900 package, and we say so before the first line is drawn.
Can concrete really look this light?
Yes. Integral pigment in the cream range plus a ground surface opens the fine aggregate and lightens the paste — the result reads warm limestone, not sidewalk grey. Samples are poured in your base colour for exactly this argument.
What does densifying do?
A lithium densifier reacts with the cement paste and hardens the surface from within, so the hone survives chairs, boots and the odd dropped pan where a film-forming sealer alone would wear through. It is chemistry, it is permanent, and it is why the studio’s patios age quietly.
How do I care for it in winter?
No de-icing salt the first winter, ever; sand or calcium-magnesium acetate after that. The reseal visit lands every third year on our calendar — you will hear from the studio, not the reverse.
