One shop, from slab to setting
Everything that happens to your stone happens here: the digital template is taken in your kitchen, the file drives our CNC in Wickham Hollow, and the two setters who land it are on our payroll, not a sub crew found by phone. We fabricate for four kitchen studios in the valley and still sell direct, at the same rates, to the people who cook on the stone.
Templating is in the number
The laser digital template is included in every square foot we quote. If a top we cut does not fit because our template was wrong, the recut, the stone and the second visit are ours to pay.

Rates from last quarter's finished kitchens in the valley. One number covers template, fabrication and install; the only extras we ever invoice are seams added at your request and plumbing work, which we do not do.

How it goes
From the yard to the first breakfast
The same sequence on every job — the only variable is your project.
Visit 01
The slab yard, together
Tuesday or Thursday morning at the Kettle Road yard. You put the reserve on the bundles you like; we photograph the veining so the stone you picked is the stone that lands.
Visit 02
The digital template
A laser digitizer reads your cabinets to a quarter millimetre — no cardboard templates, no squinting at walls that are not square. You approve seam placement on screen before a blade touches stone.
Week 2
Fabrication
The file drives the CNC; sink, cooktop and tap holes are routed; mitered edges are glued and clamped overnight; every profile is finished by hand at the bench.
Install day
The setting
Old tops off and out, stone set level, seams closed with colour-matched epoxy, sinks and splash siliconed. We sweep the kitchen; you cook the first breakfast.

Kitchens that cook on our stone
We picked the actual slabs on a Tuesday and ate off them three weeks later. The mitered waterfall on the island reads as one piece of stone — two guests have run a finger along the joint looking for it.
A six-metre bar top in carrara, in a room that was never meant to be square. The template found every bow in the plaster, the seams sit inside grey veining, and the health inspector called it the cleanest counter in Fern County.
Our house was built in 1908 and nothing in it is true. The laser did not care. Stone landed once, fit once, and the setters were gone by three in the afternoon.

Fair questions
The five we get on every first phone call. If yours is not here, the shop line at the bottom of this page runs seven to five, valley-wide.
Is the digital template really included?
Yes — in every fabricated square foot we quote. The two-hour laser scan is ours, and the file is yours: if you ever want a matching vanity cut years later, any shop can cut from it.
Quartz, granite or marble?
Quartz if you want zero maintenance and a controlled pattern; granite if you want natural stone that forgives a hot pan; marble if you want the one that ages beautifully and etches honestly. We say the drawbacks of each out loud before you choose.
How do seams work?
Seams sit 1.5 mm wide, placed where cabinets cross or where slab size forces them, and closed with epoxy tinted to your stone. On bookmatched marble we lay consecutive slabs so the vein runs across the seam.
Do I need to seal it?
Natural stone leaves here with a 15-year impregnating sealer, renewable in an afternoon around year twelve. Quartz needs nothing but a cloth and the occasional trivet.
How long is the kitchen down?
Zero days until install morning — we template on the existing tops. That one day, the old top comes off and the new one goes on in the same visit.
