Family & cosmetic dentistry — Harborview
Dentistry you stop dreading
Brightwater Dental runs on time, explains everything before it happens, and has sedation options for the one in five of us carrying a bad memory. New patients welcome — including the ones who haven't been in a decade.
Check-ups & hygiene
Exam, X-rays when due, and a hygienist who teaches rather than scolds. Recall intervals matched to your mouth, not the calendar.
Whitening & cosmetic
Professional whitening, bonding and veneers — planned on a mock-up you approve before any tooth is touched.
Restorative & implants
Fillings, crowns, bridges and implant restoration, with each step's cost and timeline in writing.

Your first visit, minute by minute
0:00 — The conversation
Before the chair: your history, your worries, and what you actually want from your teeth. It runs the first ten minutes because it matters more than the mirror.
0:10 — Look and measure
Exam, X-rays if due, gum measurements and photos you can see on the screen beside you.
0:30 — The plan
Findings in plain language: what needs doing now, what can wait, what to watch. Priced, printed, yours to take.
0:45 — Your call
Nothing happens today unless it's an emergency you want treated. You book the next step when you're ready — or never, guilt-free.
Twenty years of avoiding dentists, gone in one visit. They never once made me feel bad about the gap — they just fixed the urgent thing and gave me a plan I could pace. I have been back three times now. Voluntarily.
The plan on the screen with prices before anything started was the thing. No surprises, no "while we're in here" — I could say yes with my eyes open.
My son is autistic and the sensory protocol here (warning before every sound, heavy blanket, breaks on request) means he ASKS to go. I cannot overstate what that is worth.
I'm scared of the dentist. Really scared.
You are our average patient, not our difficult one. Tell us when you book — first visits can be conversation-only, sedation options exist from nitrous to oral, and the stop signal is always yours: raise a hand and everything stops. Nothing starts without your yes.
Do you take my insurance?
We bill most major plans directly and handle the paperwork. Whatever the plan doesn't cover, you see before treatment — our estimate is written, and the rare gap between estimate and claim is explained line by line.
Payment plans?
Interest-free over 3–12 months for anything over $300, arranged in five minutes at the desk. The Brightwater Plan exists for the uninsured on purpose: dentistry should not be a luxury good.
Emergencies?
Held slots every weekday morning for pain, swelling and trauma — call at 8 and we will almost always see you that day. Out of hours, the phone line triages and opens early for genuine emergencies.
