What we build

01

Cedar privacy fence — from $34/ln ft

Six-foot western red cedar, 1×6 boards on 2×4 rails, posts every 8 feet in concrete below frost. Board-and-batten and shadowbox patterns quoted from the same walk of the line.

02

Chain-link, galvanized & coated — from $19/ln ft

Nine-gauge galvanized or black vinyl-coated chain-link with a tensioned top rail and terminal posts in concrete — the fence that outlives the dog, the kids and most of the neighbourhood.

03

Aluminum & ornamental — from $52/ln ft

Powder-coated aluminum panels that never need paint, racked to follow the slope without stepping, with pool gates that self-close and latch to the code your inspector actually reads.

04

Gates & access — from $640 installed

Walk gates, double drive gates to 16 feet and keyed cantilever gates for the long lanes — hinges welded, wheels over-set, and the latch at the height your arm actually is.

They pulled the string line and my husband watched them sight down it — three lots of fence, dead straight over a grade that fooled two other crews. Five Kettle Falls winters and the gate has yet to sag.
Carol Draper · 210 ft cedar, Kettle Falls
Estimate Tuesday, locates Friday, posts the following Thursday. The crew set the last board, swept my drive and showed me how to adjust the gate myself. I thought that stuff was gone.
Miguel Ruiz · 340 ft cedar and drive gate, Ridgeway
The pool inspector passed the fence on the first visit and asked who built it. Self-closing gate, perfect latch height, not a spot of rust on a single terminal. Straightline is the neighbourhood's default answer now.

Asked at every estimate

How deep do the posts actually go?

Forty-two inches, in concrete, on every post — corners, ends and gates included, not just the stretch in front of the driveway. Frost around here lifts a shallow post an inch a year; we would rather dig once.

Cedar or pressure-treated?

Cedar for the boards either way — it holds stain and stays straight. Pressure-treated pine is cheaper per foot and moves twice as much in year two. We install it on request and say exactly that at the estimate.

Do you handle the survey?

We pull the plat, set the string a board-width inside your marks and call 811 before any hole. If the pins are missing we stop and bring in the surveyor — a fence in the wrong place is the most expensive fence there is.

How fast is a fence?

A 150-foot line is two days on site: one for posts and concrete, one for rails, boards and the gate. Estimates inside 24 hours; most builds start within three weeks of the call.
