Stonegrove & Vale
Sound familiar?
Renovation should not feel like a lawsuit you also live inside.
Three quotes, four months of dust, and a punch list that outlives the paint. The valley has been trained to expect it. Our clients get a schedule named week by week, a dust wall that actually seals, and a foreman who answers the phone like it is 1995.
- The week-one book Your project arrives with a printed schedule, the selections, and the name of the person holding it — before demo day, not after apology one.
- Craft you can lean on Cabinetry from our own bench, stone templated digitally, brass unlacquered so it earns its patina honestly.
- A clean site, daily Swept, vacuumed, sealed. Your home stays a home while it becomes a better one.

The portfolio
Kitchens
The room that pays for itself in every evening. Stone, oak, and light.
Baths
Wet rooms and quiet stone — the second-best room in the house, done first-rate.
Additions
Sunrooms, suites and garden rooms drawn to belong, not to match.
The Stonegrove way
A method, not a mood board
The visit
We measure, listen, and return a written estimate with three investment tiers inside a week — free.
The edit
Drawings and selections together in one room, one afternoon, decided — not a semester of email attachments.
The quiet build
Dust-sealed, swept daily, and finished to a walkthrough list you hold the pen on. Typically 6–12 weeks on site.
Nine weeks, one dust wall, zero surprises. The kitchen looks like the drawing — and the drawing was beautiful. Our friends assume we spent double.
The week-one book sold me before demo did. Every selection, every date, the foreman's cell on page one. It ran exactly like the book said it would.
They matched 1930s brick on the addition so well the neighbour asked which wall was new. That is the level we are talking about.

The edit, without the build
The fixed quote is the ceiling
If our number is wrong, our contingency pays for it — that is what contingencies are for. In writing, on page one of the week-one book.
Can we live at home during the work?
Almost always, yes — the dust wall seals the site and the kitchen or bath is never both-out with the other. We sequence around your household, and the schedule in the week-one book says exactly which weeks are loud.
Where does the cabinetry come from?
Our own bench, two streets from the studio. It is the difference between a kitchen that photographs and one that closes softly in ten years — and it is why our warranty is five years, in writing.
How do we start?
One visit. We measure, listen, and come back within a week with a written estimate and three tiers. If none of them fit, we say so kindly and part friends — it happens, and it should.
Do you take small projects?
A powder room or a hearth wall, occasionally, between larger builds — ask. A laundry list of small fixes is a handyman's work and we will gladly hand you the number of a good one.
The house, edited. Yours next.
A written estimate in a week. The visit is free — and worth it either way.
