Repaint specialists · Riverton & the river suburbs

The first coat was the builder’s. This one is yours.

Second Coat exists for the flat white every developer sprayed the week before you got the keys. Pigmented colour, washable sheens, cabinets re-sprayed — rooms that finally look like the people paying for them.

Services

The five refreshes

01

The single-day repaint

One bedroom, one hallway or one home office: walked at eight, cut in by ten, two coats by four, furniture back by six. For the room you have been apologising for since 2023.

02

The listing lift

The package realtors keep our number for: neutral-but-not-beige walls, white-cut trim, ceilings touched flat — one long day, invoice ready for the closing file.

03

Rental turnover, by the door

Scuff-covered to deposit-ready between tenants, in a matte that actually wipes clean, with the punch-list walkthrough photographed for the file.

04

Cabinet re-spray

The kitchen you like, in the colour you wanted: doors off, tented, four coats of catalysed enamel, hinges back on soft-close by the third morning.

05

The colour reset

A full-floor repaint with the consult folded in — swatches on your wall for three days before a brush is opened, because the counter chip is a liar and we have stopped pretending otherwise.

How it goes

How a refresh runs

The same sequence on every job — the only variable is your project.

  1. Day 0

    The rewalk

Thirty minutes, tape measure out. You get the fixed price and the calendar slot in writing before we leave the driveway.

  2. Day 1, 8 a.m.

    Containment

Tents, mats, furniture grouped and covered. The HEPA vacuum lives inside the tent — the rest of the floor stays yours all week.

  3. Day 1, afternoon

    Prep & prime

Walls washed, gloss killed, fillers feathered, bare spots primed. Prep is four-fifths of a finish that still wipes clean in year eight.

  4. Final evening

    Coats & hand-back

Two finish coats, lines cut by hand, everything back on its felt pads, floors done. We walk each room with a raking lamp before the van closes.

Word of mouth

Three rescues

We bought the flattest white box in Riverton and lived in it out of inertia. Second Coat reset the whole floor in four days, and the house finally photographs like the one we thought we were buying.
Nour & Callum Adeyemi · Ferry Street · full floor
One day, one bedroom, and they were gone by six with the tent and the tape. My home office is now the colour of a decent horizon and I have stopped closing the door on calls.
Ditte Karlsson · Boxwood Crescent · single-day repaint
The cabinet re-spray cost a fifth of new doors. The neighbour asked if we had refaced — I said no, we had just finally chosen something.
Ray Ochoa · Millrace Road · cabinet re-spray

Fair questions

Is it really one day for one room?

Walked at eight, two coats by four, furniture back by six — if the walls are honest. Anything the rewalk flags — flaking, water damage, 1970s woodchip — gets named and priced before, not discovered and regretted during.

What does the colour reset cost?

The consult is folded into the repaint, not added on: swatches on your wall for three days, then a named specification for every surface. Choosing under your own light is the whole trick.

Can you paint over the developer coating?

We test it first — most take a system beautifully; some want a bonding prime. The rewalk tells us which, and the price already includes it either way.

Can you work while we live here?

That is the design: rooms sequenced so the kitchen and bedroom are only out on the nights we say, with tents and HEPA on everything else.

How fast can you start?

Single rooms inside a week, floors in two to three, cabinets three to four in damp weather. We hold a cancel list and never squeeze prep to hit a date.

Spring bookings run about two weeks out; single rooms often sooner — (555) 335-6612 gets a painter, not a call centre.

Book the rewalk.

Tell us the rooms and the rush. Thirty minutes, a fixed price in writing, and a calendar slot before we leave the driveway. hello@secondcoat.example
