Quarterly monitoring with glue-board stations in the kitchen kick-plates, garage and crawlspace. Trap counts go in the report; chemistry goes only where the counts say so. Most homes run eight placements and zero broadcast sprays a year.

Cockroach elimination — $260, two visits
German cockroaches are a plumbing problem wearing an insect costume. Gel placements in the cabinet voids, a growth regulator to break the nymph cycle, and a 14-day follow-up that reads the sticky monitors — the count, not the vibe, closes the file.

Bed bug heat remediation — $1.10 / sq ft
The unit is brought to 130°F and held three hours, with wireless sensors in the mattress box, the headboard void and the outlet plates. No residue, one day, every stage from egg to adult — and a canine confirm at day 21 if you want the belt and the braces.

Wasps, hornets & carpenter bees — from $95
Carpenter bees get an insecticidal dust in the gallery and a cedar plug in the hole. Paper wasps get the dusk treatment and a repellent band on the eave so the next queen shops elsewhere. Nests inside a wall void are excavated, never fogged.

The discipline is the difference
Every Halcyon report carries the species — Latin and common — the active ingredient by name and percentage, the placement map, and the re-entry interval. Not because a regulator demands it, but because "a pest product was applied somewhere" is how the same kitchen gets treated four times in one summer by four different companies. The file stays open until the trap counts close it.
The 60-day protocol
If live activity of the identified species returns within 60 days, we re-treat under the original protocol at no charge — and re-identify first, because a return is information, not a failure.

Day 0 · 40 points
Inspect
Kitchen and bath plumbing voids, crawlspace, garage threshold, the expansion joint in the slab, mulch depth at the foundation — photographed, logged and counted. The inspection is the diagnosis; nothing gets treated until it is done.
Same day
Identify
The specimen goes under the scope. Odorous house ant versus Argentine changes the bait; German versus American cockroach changes the placement map entirely. You get the species in writing before you get a price.
Day 0–1
Treat
Targeted placements follow the identification: gel in the voids, desiccant dust in the wall, a growth regulator where the nymphs are, a perimeter band only when the species earns one. The placement map is in the report you can actually read.
Day 14
Monitor
Glue boards read and counted, the counts graphed against the Day 0 baseline, and the protocol closed or extended. The graph is in your report — the trend is the proof, not the absence of a sighting.
The practice, in figures
The last company came every month for a year, and the roaches came with them. Halcyon came twice, showed me the trap counts falling on a graph, and closed the file. Two visits, a year clean, and I finally know what was in the gel and where it went.
