Mainline Mechanical
Sound familiar?
A closed restaurant bills you a full Saturday for every hour of a burst line.
Residential habits wreck commercial budgets: no drawings, no isolation plan, no spare on the van. Mainline runs a protocol instead — as-built schematics on file, isolation valves tagged, and contracted response windows our dispatch is measured on.
- Schematics on file, not in heads Every contracted site gets drawn: mains, isolations, backflow, grease. The 4 a.m. tech arrives knowing where everything sleeps.
- Contracted response windows 90 minutes for no-water and no-heat events, guaranteed in the service agreement — with the after-hours rate printed, not improvised.
- Preventative, on a calendar Grease trap, backflow, boiler and water-treatment schedules that keep the health inspector and the insurer equally bored.

Site walk & schematics
We draw the building's wet side and tag its isolations — before there is an emergency, which is the entire point.
The contract, rates printed
Response windows, after-hours rates, and the preventative calendar — a service agreement your accountant can read.
The protocol in practice
Scheduled work on nights and Sundays where it suits your operations; emergencies inside the window, with the drawing already open.
The health inspector asked for our grease log and backflow certs. I forwarded one email from Mainline. He said "nice" and left. Worth every line of the contract.
Night shift, main line failed at the food plant. Tech on site in 70 minutes WITH the schematic — isolation tagged, repair done, line running by shift change. Nobody else even answered.
Our GC put Mainline on the fit-out after the first inspection passed clean. Four tenants in, zero plumbing holds on any occupancy permit.

Do you take one-off commercial calls?
Yes — at service-call rates with a two-hour response target. Most one-offs become contracts within the year, usually the week after their first real emergency.
After-hours rates?
Printed in the agreement before you need them: 1.5× weekday before midnight, 2× after — and never applied to work we could have scheduled. You will never meet a surprise multiplier here.
Can you support our facilities team?
That is half our book: we hold the drawings, run the calendar, and your team calls one number. We work FOR your facilities lead, not around them.
Insurance and compliance paperwork?
Certificates of insurance, WSIB clearance and licence copies sent same-day on request — because the contractor who stalls on paperwork stalls on everything.
Your building has a wet side. We already speak its language.
The site walk is free; the schematic is yours to keep either way.
