How Tidewater runs
One yard, one crew, one price list
The same crews that build our pools run our service routes — which is why the plans below are honest about what a pool needs after the hose comes off. No sub-contracted cleaners reading your water with a test strip and a shrug.
The printed sequence
Design, dig, shell, tile, fill — five stages, each with an exit test, on a board at the office with your name on it. You can drive past and look at it any day we are open.

Package prices are from last season's barrier-town builds and cover excavation through first fill; the fixed number comes out of the site visit, which is free. Service plans are month-to-month — no annual lock, cancel any time, and the first month is on us on any pool Tidewater built.

What the plans carry
Chemistry, logged
Every visit logs the test readings to your account — pH, sanitizer, stabilizer — so "the water was fine" is a number with a date on it, not a claim.
Salt systems, done right
Cell sized to your gallons, installed with a union and a flow switch, and acid-washed on the schedule the manufacturer actually asked for — not the one that is convenient.
Same crews, both jobs
The builders run the service routes. A plan visit that spots a finish issue or a losing pump goes to the build crew the same week, not to a voicemail box.
How it goes
Design to fill
The same sequence on every job — the only variable is your project.
Weeks 1–2
Design
Site survey, soils, setbacks and the scaled drawing — pool, deck, equipment pad, and the plumbing schematic that decides how the water will actually move before any of it is pretty.
Week 3
Dig
Excavation, formwork and the first plumbing trench. Most dig days are one machine and one truck cycle; the yard is boarded overnight and the gate stays shut behind us.
Weeks 4–6
Shell
Steel, then shotcrete for gunite — or panel walls and a measured liner track for vinyl. Gunite shells cure a full 28 days, hosed and covered, before anything touches them.
Weeks 7–8
Tile & deck
Waterline tile set dead level, coping, decking poured or laid, the equipment pad set and piped. This is the week the pool starts looking like the drawing.
Weeks 9–10
Fill
Plaster or liner in, hose on, filter on, first balance — and the service plan, if you took one, starts the same week the dust ends.
We bought the package and braced for the disappearing act. Instead there was a board at the office with our name on it — design, dig, shell, tile, fill, each dated — and the dates held within three days. The weekly plan started the week the hose came off, and every time I tested the water myself it came up on-spec.

Straight answers
Anything else, the office line at the bottom of the page runs seven to five, and the board in the window answers the rest.
Will you service a pool you did not build?
Yes — the plans are for any pool, any builder. The first visit is an audit: equipment, safety covers, and what the last company left the water doing. You get the readings before you get the invoice.
What does "from" mean on the packages?
It is the honest floor — excavation through first fill for a straightforward rectangle on flat sand. Rock, seawall permits and spa spillovers are priced at the free site visit, not discovered on dig day.
Do you winterize?
Open and close, $340 a visit: seasonal open with a full equipment restart, or winter close with the lines blown, plugged and covered — plus a February equipment check that is worth the drive.

Price the yard, not the brochure
Send the address and the shape of the yard. The site visit is free, the package price is fixed on paper after it, and the service plans are month-to-month from the day the hose comes off. dive@tidewaterpools.example
