Sound familiar?

After a storm, the second disaster is the contractor who shows up first.

Out-of-state crews, inflated scopes the insurer rejects, and a tarp that becomes a tarp for months. Stormwatch is local, licensed, and paid by the job — not by the markup — so the scope we file is the scope that closes.

  • Tarp first, argue never Emergency stabilization within the contracted window: tarp, board, document. The mitigation invoice is the one your insurer actually wants to see.
  • The claim file, done right Measurement reports in carrier format, dated photography, line-item scopes. Adjusters approve what they can verify — so we make everything verifiable.
  • Local for the warranty The crew that reroofs you is twenty minutes away for the next thirty years. Warranty service from a storm-chaser is a rumour; from us it is a neighbour.

Hour 1 — the call

Storm line answered by a coordinator who dispatches the nearest crew and stays your single human through the whole claim.

2

Hour 6 — stabilized

Tarp on, broken glass boarded, interior protected. Mitigation photographed and logged for the insurer.

3

Day 2 — the file

Drone survey, moisture map, line-item scope in carrier format, filed with your adjuster — with us on the call if you want us there.

4

Approval — the reroof

Crew scheduled, upgrades quoted at cost, and the 30-year warranty registered before the dumpster leaves.

Tree limb at 2 a.m., rain forecast for the next day. Tarped by 4, adjuster approved the claim in six days because the file was airtight, reroofed in three weeks. Local matters. Everything about this was local.
D. Rosenfeldt · Storm reroof, Willow Creek
Two storm-chasers quoted $48k of "damage" the insurer laughed at. Stormwatch filed $21k of real damage that got approved in full — and talked us out of the rest. That is who you want.
The Okoyes · Hail claim, Cedar Falls
They came BACK. Nine months later, a wind-lifted shingle on the warranty — fixed in two days by the same crew lead. Storm-chasers do not do that. Neighbours do.

We finish every claim

Zero abandoned claims in fifteen years — the number we are proudest of, because this industry is famous for the opposite.

Should I call you or my insurer first?

Call us first if there is active water: mitigation is time-sensitive and insurers expect it. We document from the first tarp, and you report the claim the same day with our file already building. You can also call your agent while our truck rolls — both is best.

Will you cover the deductible?

No — legally and ethically, no. What we do instead is file an honest scope approved in full, quote upgrades at genuine cost, and finish in weeks instead of seasons. That is worth more than a deductible gimmick that ends in litigation.

How long until the reroof?

Typical: approval in 1–3 weeks, roofing within 2–4 weeks after that, weather permitting. You get a written schedule with the approval — and a coordinator whose number does not change.

What if the adjuster and you disagree?

It happens on maybe one in ten files. We reconcile line by line with the carrier, supplement the claim with documentation rather than argument, and you decide on any gap before work starts. No surprise invoices, ever.
