Weatherbend Exteriors · Fenmoor, Slate Bank & Carden Mills · Four-season exterior work
Weather happens. Walls answer.
Weatherbend re-sides, trims and storm-proofs the windy corner of the county — fiber cement and engineered wood, wrapped and rain-screened, fastened to spec and flashed at every opening. The same crew through the whole job, a fixed per-square-foot quote, and a five-year labor warranty backed by a company that has wintered here the whole time.

How the job runs
Measure, print
Walls measured flat, openings counted, the fixed quote issued per square foot before anything is ordered.
Wrap & flash
Tear-off wall by wall, sheathing repaired, then wrap, tape and flashings — watertight by nightfall, every night.
Hang on gauge
Starter to a laser, blind-nailed to spec, the gauge sheet posted on the job wall where you and the county inspector can both read it.
Walk & file
Magnet sweep, touch-up kit, and both warranties registered the same week — five years on us, thirty on the board.
Five and thirty
Five years on fastening, flashing, sealing and caulk — re-done free. Thirty years on the ColorPlus board, prorated, transferable to the next owner once. We file both, the week of the walk.
The warranty drawer
Both papers, in your name
A warranty nobody files is a brochure. Weatherbend registers the manufacturer’s paper and issues its own the same afternoon as the final walk, and both arrive by email before the crew’s truck is out of the drive. If you sell the house, the transfer form is one signature.
Recent hangs
Around the county
Weatherbend, in figures
The October gale took the west wall and the neighbor’s trampoline. Weatherbend photographed it from the ladder that night, wrote the scope the adjuster accepted first pass, and had ColorPlus matched and hung before Thanksgiving. The wall is better than the one the house was born with.
Word from the weather side
The county weighs in
Three quotes, and the only one that mentioned a rain-screen gap was theirs — with a finger-gap demo on a sample corner right there in the driveway. Two winters later the neighbor’s overlay is peeling and ours looks painted yesterday.
They hung in November. The wrap went on day three and then it snowed for a week — not a drop inside, and they were back on the wall the morning it let up. The schedule they printed at the start is the schedule that happened.
Our adjuster wanted to patch the hail side. Weatherbend’s scope showed forty-one broken boards with a code line under each one. Full elevation, agreed number, no supplements — the scope did all the arguing.
Asked over the fence
Can you really hang siding in winter?
Yes, to a line. Fiber cement installs down to freezing with cold-weather caulk and a heated tent over the cut station; the wrap and flashings go on in anything. What we will not do is caulk a frozen joint — the calendar holds those days, and the quote prints them.
What does the fixed quote include?
Tear-off and dumpster on planks, sheathing repair priced before it surprises you, wrap, tape and flashings, fasteners, scaffolding, the magnet sweep and the touch-up kit. Per square foot times the measured wall — if the number moves, it is because you changed the board.
Patch or full re-side after hail?
Hail does not half-damage an elevation; it writes the scope. We photograph every strike from the ladder, and if the count says the wall, we hang the wall. A patch that reads like a patch costs you twice — once in looks, once the day the buyer’s inspector walks it.
How do I pick a color?
The ColorPlus deck in your own yard, at your own hour — morning sun and storm light are different colors, and your wall faces one of them all day. We leave three sample boards for a week; the street has opinions and the street is not wrong.
What about the beds and the drive?
Tarps under every tear, planks under the dumpster, magnet sweeps daily, and the beds photographed before the first ladder. The wind corner takes the tarps seriously too — everything is staked, nothing flaps.
