Solar design & installation · Meridian Falls & the Arroyo Valley · Lic. 88-4127

The roof is the least-worked acreage you own.

Sunwell designs, permits and installs rooftop and ground-mount solar across the Arroyo Valley — arrays shade-modelled to the tree before anyone quotes, fixed install prices, and a production estimate written into the contract before you sign it.

6.1 MW installed since 2016 · NABCEP-certified lead on every roof · a written production guarantee on every contract

The shop

One roof, one model, one number

Every Sunwell system starts with a drone flight and a shade model, because an array sized to a sales target is a loan you never agreed to. We read twelve months of your bills, trace every tree and chimney on the horizon, and hand you a production estimate you can hold us to — the same estimate that becomes the guarantee.

The production floor

Year one, the array makes 95% of the modelled kilowatt-hours or Sunwell pays the difference at your net-metering rate — in writing, in the contract, before the deposit clears.

Services & rates

System pricing, before incentives

Cash prices from last quarter's Arroyo Valley installs — permits, interconnection filing and the ten-year workmanship warranty already inside the number, with the 30% federal credit and your utility's net-metering schedule still to come off it. The shade model at the free survey decides which row your roof earns.

Services

The Sunwell method

01

Shade modelling before sales talk

A drone flight, a horizon trace of every tree and chimney, and an hour-by-hour production model run against your last twelve bills. If the honest array is 6 kW against a quoted 10, you hear it from us first.

02

Permits, interconnection, HOA

Building permit, utility interconnection and the HOA packet if your street has one. You sign two documents the whole project; we chase the rest, and the milestone dates are in the contract before you sign those.

03

Install day

Most rooftops finish in a day — flashed attachments under the existing shingles, rail, panels, everything torque-checked to spec. The crew chief walks the roof with you, and the attic gets a moisture check the next morning.

04

Monitoring, washes, the guarantee

The production app lands on your phone the day the meter spins backwards. Every spring we wash the glass and re-torque the rail, free, for the ten years the workmanship warranty runs.

The valley says

Word of mouth, kilowatt-hours first

The model said 9,400 kWh a year and the array made 9,712. The app is the first thing I check with coffee now — Sunwell sized it off my actual bills, and my March statement was the utility paying me.
Dana Whitfield · 8.1 kW rooftop, Cedar Bluff
Three oaks I refused to cut, and they modelled the shade hour by hour instead of arguing with me. Smaller array, honest number — and the battery carried the fridge and the well pump through the February outage without a flicker.
R. Osei · Ground mount + storage, Arroyo Valley
Permits, HOA, inspection: I signed twice and made coffee for the crew once. One day on the roof, and they left the torque report on the counter and a moisture-checked attic behind them.

Before you call

Fair questions

The five we get on every first call. If yours is missing, the shop line at the bottom runs seven to five, valley-wide.

What does net metering actually do to my bill?

Your meter runs both ways: midday production spins against your night use, and the utility trues up on the twelfth month at its published avoided-energy rate. We model your crossover month from real bills before you sign, so "basically zero" is a month with a name on it, not a brochure line.

My yard is heavily treed — is solar still honest here?

Sometimes. We model the shade hour by hour before quoting, and if the oaks win we price a ground mount at the pasture line instead — or we tell you the truth and leave. Two surveys last month ended with "do not buy solar from anyone," which is exactly why the survey is free.

How long until the system pays for itself?

The median across the Sunwell fleet is 8.7 years at current net-metering rates — faster on modelled ground mounts, slower where the roof fights us. Your contract carries its own payback line computed from your bills, not from the fleet average.

What exactly is the production guarantee?

Year one, 95% of the modelled kilowatt-hours or we pay the shortfall at your utility's rate — and if the miss came from our sizing, we add the panels at our cost instead. The model, the guarantee and the payback line are three paragraphs in the same contract.

What happens in an outage?

A grid-tied array shuts down with the street, by code, unless storage is in the scope. With the 13.5 kWh battery we carry the circuits you name — fridge, well pump, medical, wifi — through a normal night and most of the next day, automatically.
