Gridline has designed and installed arrays across the basin since 2011. Every number on this page comes off a commissioned system, and the quote you get is the same quote everybody gets — modelled against your meter, guaranteed against the model.

What Gridline builds
Rooftop arrays, modelled to the tree
We fly the roof and trace every horizon obstruction into an hour-by-hour shade model, then size the array to your last twelve months of kilowatt-hours. If the honest number is smaller than the one a salesman would pitch, the honest number is what you get.
Ground mounts & barn roofs
Pier foundations set below the frost line, trench to the service entrance, and arrays angled to the basin's winter sun. Ground mounts pay for the extra cable in one summer of production — the model prices both options side by side before you choose.
Service, monitoring & the guarantee
Production app, annual wash and torque check, inverter firmware, and a year-one guarantee of 95% of modelled output. Underperformance caused by our sizing gets fixed with hardware, not a shrug — it has happened four times in 312 arrays, and four times it was our invoice.
Why the ledger
Fixed quotes from a read meter
A solar quote moves for one reason: nobody read the meter before writing it. We pull twelve months of kilowatt-hours, fly the roof, and price the array the model says — then the number sits still. It has sat still through 312 commissioned systems, and the ledger on this page is where we keep the receipts.
The model is the contract
The production estimate is written into the contract with a year-one floor: 95% of modelled output, the shortfall paid at your net-metering rate, sizing errors fixed with hardware at our cost. No weather asterisk bigger than the promise.

The same sequence on every job — the only variable is your project.
Week 1
The bill review
Twelve months of bills, the roof's age and azimuth, and how long you plan to own the house. Sizing happens here or nowhere — an array is an answer to a number, and this is where we get the number.
Weeks 1–2
The shade model
Drone flight, horizon trace, panel-level simulation. You get the production estimate in writing — kilowatt-hours by month, with the basin's storm weeks in it — before anyone talks money.
Weeks 3–6
Permits & install
Utility interconnection, building permit, HOA packet. Install is one day on most roofs: flashed attachments, rail, panels torque-checked to spec, and an attic moisture check the morning after.
Week 7 →
Monitor & true-up
App handoff, meter-swap coordination with the utility, and a day-one baseline against the model. Every spring the crew returns to wash panels and re-torque the rail — free, for the life of the warranty.
Our last three quotes were all 12 kW — because that was what the salesman had on the truck. Gridline modelled our oak line, told us 7.4 kW was the honest array, and was right to the kilowatt-hour: year one came in at 97% of the model. The smaller system pays back faster, and the oaks are still standing.
